Mary Margo Turner was born in Clarksville, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science. Mary Margo received her law degree from Belmont University College of Law and earned a Certificate in Entertainment and Music Business Law. Mary Margo is a proud member of Belmont University College of Law’s inaugural class and serves as Co- Chair for the Alumni Chapter. While attending law school, she served as a member of the Board of Advocates and was on the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team.

Mary Margo is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations, the Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women, and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Tennessee Bar Association. Her primary practice areas include business, corporate, banking, real estate, alcoholic beverage, estate planning and probate. Mary Margo is active in the Nashville community and devotes much of her free time supporting local charities.
